Recycled as a binding fragment, with an 18th-century French inscrption in ink in margins at bottom right of verso explaining the contents and context of the document the leaf was recycled to cover: A copy of a contract of sale, dated 4 May 1731
An 18th-century note on the verso metions the village of Firfol, east of Lisieux, suggesting an origin or use in Normandy for this manuscript
