Leaves are missing before f. 1 and after ff. 42 and 69. Written in Italy in a humanistic hand of the early 15th century, in brown ink, 19 lines per page, rubricated with dark red capitals and with gold initial letters on ff. 1r, 2v, 3v, 31r, 33v, 37r, 38v, 53r, 54r. There are marginal notes in other early hands, including one in Hebrew (f. 85v). Modern binding in quarter leather. Gift of Mrs. William Bates, 1995.
