Foliation supplied by cataloger. Watermarks: Single watermark depicting a unicorn, unidentified. Layout: Written in 21-23 long lines. Unruled. Script: Written by a single hand in Humanistic cursive. Binding: Modern. Bound in brown marbled paper over thin paper boards. A rectangular paper label adhered to head of spine, now effaced. Origin: Probably written in Italy and France at the end of the fourteenth century, dated from February 21, 1493 to January 23, 1494. Former shelfmark: MS Y129 Shelfmark: Lawrence, University of Kansas, Kenneth Spencer Research Library, MS B21 In good condition except for minor damage due to humidity and ink corrosion (no loss of text). History of the manuscript is unknown. Possible bookseller marks in pencil on front pastedown: inscribed "Itinerary 1493-94" and a price in upper left corner, "Ms. 49" in lower right corner, and an encircled "104" on lower half.
