Extent: 45 leaves ; 22 cm.

Note:

Title from incipit.
The work is based on Aristotle but is not (as stated in old cataloging) an Italian translation of Aristotle's Ethics.
Written in a semi-gothic hand in one column by Arigho von Schlusselfelt (signature, f. 41r).
Major initial letters are illuminated. The watercolor drawing on the frontispiece (f. 1v) showing a lecture is of the 18th or 19th century.
Bound in 15th-century blind-tooled brown calf over wooden boards.
Deposited by Philip Hofer, 1967; bequeathed, 1984.
