- Written in a small humanistic cursive script in brown ink. Major initial letters are in colors in the left margin. Each month of the year begins with a decorated white-vine initial in colors and gold paint.
F. 13r-v, containing the beginning of the text, is a replacement leaf written by Graily Hewitt in 1917. Six lines on the recto are in burnished gold.
Bound in original brown calf tooled in blind, rebacked, with a remnant of a brass clasp.
Title from colophon which also identifies the scribe as "Blasius Hieronimi de Saracenis filius civis vincentinus" and gives the date 1460.
