Foliation: Paper, 96; contemporary foliation in ink, upper right recto (f.24-83 and 90-96 blank but ruled).
Forms part of: Gondi-Medici Business Records.
Origin: Written in Italy between 1565 (f. 1v) and 1568 (f. 89r).

Layout: Written in columns with vertical bounding lines in lead; the large central column with a brief description of the transaction, including the name of the counterparts involved, and the smaller one on the right with the amount received or disbursed.
Script: Written in a cursive script, in the hand of Girolamo di Domenico Vanni.
Watermark: Unidentified watermark containing a decorated circle and a star.
Binding: Contemporary vellum, no. 227 on spine; the heading Libro di entrata e di uscita, no. 171, signet D and letter C with decorative penwork on upper cover; lower cover with remnants of leather ties wraps around upper cover; decorative leatherwork on spine.
