Written in a modified roman script in brown ink in one column. Initial letters are illuminated, and the first letters of lines are separated into the left margin.
There are 19 full-page miniatures in tempera and gold, one for each epistle excepting X and XVII (these have spaces not filled up), by Christoforo Marjorana.
18th-century Italian binding in full red morocco, gilt.
In a tray case, 19 cm.
Richard Heber (his sale, 10 Feb. 1836, XI lot 1027); bought by Sir Thomas Phillipps. Purchased from William H. Robinson with the Hofer fund, 1947.
