- Written in north Italy in a large round gothic script in black, red and blue with elaborate pen-decoration.
"Andreae Calderini Episcopi Cenetensis impensa" - recto of leaf before f. 1. Andrea Calderini was bishop of Ceneda 1378-1385.
There are 78 colored miniatures, of which 55 were painted at the time the ms. was written, and 23 by a later Florentine artist possibly Battista di Biagio Sanguigni.
Binding in purple morocco, gilt, ca. 1830.
