Includes rubrics in Latin and decorative colored initials in red and blue. Watermark P with fleur-de-lis corresponds to Briquet 8591 (Colmar 1452, Basel 1456-65) and Briquet 8608 (Colmar 1472, Basel 1473). Misbound fragments of a Historia scholastica, beginning (f. 1r) with III Kings 19: "Begnitus textus et caputulum xix." Bound in a 15th-cent. German blind-tooled calf with remnants of paper documents as pastedowns; clasps and bosses removed, stamped on the front cover with the Lübeck bookbinder's name: "hinricus coster bant dit." Catharine Wisser (inscribed on inside front cover): "Ex donatione Catharin[ae] Wisser possidet Habac[uc?] Meier Aō Christ[i] XCV [ ]; to Michaeliskonvent in Lübeck (existed until 1806); "aus Bürgermeister Gählers Auction" (19th cent., inscribed on inside front cover); Matthew S.
