- The initial letter "I" within a foliate part-border, is historiated, showing St. Augustine writing.
The text is written in a large gothic rotunda hand, with music on a red 4-line staff.
The historiated initial, in tempera and colored inks with gold leaf, has been connected to the illuminator Niccolò di Giacomo da Bologna (active 1351-1404).
