Ff. 1r and 4r have initials in gold and colors with white-vine decoration. F. 1r has a blank cartouche at the foot.
Ff. 1r-4r contain the preface dedicating the work to King Louis XI of France.
There are 11 blank leaves, ruled for writing, after f. 38.
Bound in contemporary blind-tooled calf, repaired, with remnants of 2 brass clasps.
In a cloth chemise within a quarter leather and cloth slipcase, 20 cm.
