Written in a roman hand in black ink in 1 column, with headings in red in the outer margins.
According to the colophon (f. 190v) the Italian translation was made by P. Candido Decembre in 1475. The scribe gives his name as Laurencianum Leone.
The frontispiece is a full-page miniature. The dedication page (f. 2r) has a historiated initial and foliate border incorporating 4 small miniatures. In the text there are many illuminated initials, apparently intended for historiation but unfinished.
Bound in 17th-century vellum.
