- Note:
- The Latin text is written in a large rotunda hand in black with rubrications, the musical notation in black on a 4-line red staff.
There is 1 large historiated initial (f. 1r). Other major initial letters are in red and blue up to f. 66r. Lesser initials are in black and green with grotesque decoration. The ms. is defective after f. 66, showing various white space.
Written in northern France or Flanders.
The front pastedown and flyleaf are a partly written and discarded sheet used for trials of the pen.
Bound in original brown sheepskin with brass bosses, corner-pieces, and clasps.
In a tray case, 43 cm.
