Written in an urpright humanistic script, probably in Florence. The introductory matter is in 1 column, the body of the Chronicle in as many as 8 columns across a page-opening; in black, red and blue ink.
There is a historiated initial on f. 1a, within a white-vine part-border. There are 3 other illuminated initials.
Bound in 19th-century red morocco (in an older style) stamped on front and back with the arms of Cardinal de Bourbon.
In a tray case, 39 cm.
