- The verses are written 4 to a page in an upright humanistic hand in brown ink. Initial letters of verses are in gold, red or blue with pen-work decoration. The wide margins are used on many leaves for the annotations written smaller in the same hand in brown and red.
F. 1r has a foliate border incorporating a historiated initial and the arms of Galeazzo Maria Sforza. There are 21 illuminated initials with foliate part-borders. The style is Ferrarese.
Six leaves are missing after f. 10.
The scribe and illuminator are the same as for MS Typ 226.
Bound in 18th-century Austrian cat's-paw brown calf.
