- Note:
- Written in an upright humanistic hand in brown ink in one wide column. Initial letters are red or blue with pen-work decoration. The title of each book is in burnished gold, and the first line in all capitals in red.
Imperfect at the end: the text breaks off in the middle of the 20th labor.
F. 1r has a white-vine border incorporating the arms of Galeazzo Maria Sforza. There are 20 foliate part-borders, each alongside a small miniature. The style is Ferrarese.
The scribe and illuminator are the same as for Houghton MS Typ 227.
Bound in 18th-cent. Austrian cat's-paw brown calf.
In a tray case, 39 cm.
