Script: Written in a cursive script, perhaps by multiple hands.
Origin: Written in Italy, between 1540 (f. 1v) and 1556 (f. 206v).
Binding: Contemporary vellum, no. 31 on spine; the heading Quaderno, no. 303 and letter B with decorative penwork on upper cover; lower cover wraps around upper cover; remnants of leather ties and decorative leatherwork on spine.
Watermark: Similar to Briquet, Lettre S, 9079 (Pisa, 1541) (p. 1-143); Aigle 89 (Florence, 1501) (after p. 144).
