Decoration: Eighty historiated initials, 12- to 3-line, in blue, maroon and gold with border extensions in the same colors and frequently surmounted by birds.
Other Decoration: Prologues introduced by 3-line rinceau initials, often surmounted by birds; 9- to 4-line gold initials on white-patterned blue and maroon grounds/infilling; 2-line initials alternating red with blue flourishing or blue with red, and continuing into red and blue cascade borders.
