Layout: 1-1024 1116 1218(through f. 273) 13-2424 2522 2612 274. 2 columns of 45 lines, ruled in lead, with top, middle and bottom 3 lines full across; additional double rules in all 4 margins; slash prick marks visible in the 3 outer margins of some leaves.
Decoration: Eighty-two historiated initials of good quality, 10- to 7-line in blue or maroon on grounds of these colors with some gold, orange and green, and enclosed by narrow gold frames; border extensions with rinceau and biting animals.
Other Decoration: 9- to 5-line initials in white-patterned blue and maroon, with touches of gold, orange and green; 2-line initials alternating red with blue flourishing and blue with red, and continuing into a red and blue cascade border.
Artwork attributed by Branner, Manuscript Painting pp. 81 and 220 to the same atelier as Antwerp, Museum Plantin-Moretus, M 17.3. Very faint lead sketches for the illuminator on ff. 201v, 206, 219, 223v, 229v.
