Inscribed on f. i, s. XVII, the name "Henry Platt" and, in the same hand, "Foelix quem faciunt aliena pericula cautum" [Walther, Initia 6345]. Also on f. i, the pressmark "P:2." in the hand of John Egerton (1579-1649), 1st Earl of Bridgewater, corrected to "P:2./7." by the second Earl (1622-86); and, in modern pencil, "6711" corrected to "11637." The current Bridgewater pressmark, "35 C 39... - Keyword:
