Written in the second half of the fifteenth century in Germany for the Carmelite house near Heilbronn, whose chapel, dedicated to Sancta Maria ad Urticas (from a vision of a peasant women, who saw an image of the Virgin overgrown with nettles), was founded in 1447 and dedicated in 1458.
