A note, s. XV, on f. 37v "Dominus Nicholaus" may refer to an owner or to the Trevet text completed on f. 37 recto. The 2 parts were probably brought together by the time John Egerton (1622-86), 2nd Earl of Bridgewater wrote the early Bridgewater pressmark on f. 2, "M:1/3."
