Written in England, no earlier than 1497 (see ff. 127-128v, writ of that date), and perhaps before or not long after ca. 1502 (the earliest dated addition, see ff. 71v-72, added indenture dated 1502; and, added after 1506, an inquisition of that date on ff. 166v-168v); perhaps in East Anglia to judge by the section on Colchester (ff. 74-81v), the large number of documents referring to places...
