Layout: Written in 26-32 long lines; text block outlined in drypoint.
Script: Written in an italic script in two hands, alternating between hands throughout the text.
Watermark: Briquet Aigle 120 (1567); earlier version of Briquet Aigle 125 (1587) with "CN" on eagle's chest; Briquet Fleur de Lis 7049 (1578).
Binding: Parchment from an earlier (15th-century?) manuscript, using a single leaf from a large missal written in two columns of Gothic textualis script.
