Title from internal colophon (f. 126v); alternate title Kāvyakalpalatākaviṣikṣāvṛtti supplied by cataloger. Written in 10 lines per leaf. 127 leaves foliated 1-127, upper left and lower right verso. Colophon: iti śrījinadannasuriśiṣyamahākaviśrī amaracaṃdraviracitāyāṃ kāthakalpalatākaviśikṣāvṛttau arṣasidvipratāne [???]samasyāstabakaḥ saptamaḥ // (f. 126v). Mistakes covered over in yellow or blacked out; some corrections and additions in margins; significant syllables, words, or phrases highlighted in red throughout; vertical margins marked with quadruple black line. There is a square- or cross-shaped space in the middle of each folio, devoid of text, but in the center of each folio is a small hole, a reference to a style of binding used with palm leaf manuscripts. Some of the spaces have small drawings of a flower or circle in them.
