Origin: Written in Munich (?), in Bavaria, Germany, ca. 1584 (f. 128r).
Title for manuscript from title of predominant work (f. 1r).

Decoration: Title pages in a more formal calligraphic hand, with embellished initials (f. 1r, 134r, 135r, and 265r, with the inital on 134r being especially elaborate).
The proceedings of the meeting of the Bavarian Landtag of December 1579, also under Duke Wilhelm V, are found in Ms. Codex 1118.
Foliation: Paper, i + 417 + i; modern foliation in pencil, upper right recto. Small slips of paper with writing (possibly corrections) and a dot of red wax are found between f. 95 and 96, and f. 234 and 235.
Layout: Written in 21-23 long lines.
Script: Written in a German cursive hand.
Sold by Martha Richter (Easton, Pa.), 1962.
