Binding: Contemporary stamped calf over wooden boards, rebacked (Zacour-Hirsch), with remnants of two clasps. Origin: Written in Bavaria between 1597 and 1627 (f. 316v). On the inside lower cover is a dedication from someone by the last name of Zeiss (?), town clerk (Stadtschreyb) of Hilpoltstein, to a person of noble birth; the name of the recipient is difficult to read. Sold by Ivan Volkoff (Pasadena, Calif.), 1956.
