Binding: Red leather, gilt-tooled (Type III); earlier covers on repaired binding.

Layout: Written in 2 columns of 14 lines.
Collation: Paper, ii + 134 + i leaves; no foliation or visible sewing. Catch phrase on each leaf, lower left verso.
Decoration: Illuminated headpiece (f. 1v); headings in red ink decorated with gold and blue; borders of written area outlined in blue, gold, and red throughout.
Formerly owned by John Frederick Lewis (bookplate inside left cover), possibly his number 385 (label inside left cover).
