Script: Written in West African maghribī script in black ink; pointed, partially vocalized.
Decoration: Geometric designs in red and brown on first and last pages (f. 1r, 146r); several other geometric designs throughout the text (f. 1v, 6r, 8r, 25v, 29r, 45r, 54v, 63v, 67v, 77v, 81r, 107r, 118r); rubrications in red.
Binding: Unbound leaves between two boards with a leather strap attached to one board to wrap up the bundle.
