Decoration: Double page illuminated first opening in blue and gold with red and blue finials and text on cloudbands (f. 1v-2r); gold, slightly lobed circular medallions divided into six sections mark verse endings; medallions of gold, light blue, and red in several shapes including teardrop, sun, and star-shape in the margins mark section divisions; sūrah headings are white ink on a gold... Origin: Copy completed on 11 Jumādá al-Ākhirah 1224 AH (12 July 1809) by Muṣṭafá Rifqī, a student of al-Sayyid ʻUthmān, al-maʻrūf bi-Dāmād Ibrāhīm al-ʻAfīf (f. 294r). Shelfmark: MS Or 416.
