Layout: 19 long lines with poetry in two columns; some marginalia.
Script: Written in naskh in black ink; pointed, vocalized. Some marginalia in nastaʻlīq; pointed.
Decoration: Textblock border-ruled in gold (1v-2r); rubrications in red; red dots punctuate text on some leaves.
Origin: The item is undated, perhaps copied in the 17th or 18th century.

Formerly owned by David Eugene Smith (bookplate inside front cover).
According to the Encyclopaedia of Islam, Second edition online, this is a plagiarism of Ibn Ḥamdān's Jāmiʻ al-funūn wa-salwat al-maḥzūn; see under Ibn al-Wardī (Nad̲j̲m al-Dīn Aḥmad b. Ḥamdān b. S̲h̲abīb al-Ḥarrānī al-Ḥanbalī).
