Manuscript codex. Title from colophon (f. 346r). Layout: 15 long lines; border-ruled. Script: Written in naskh in black ink; pointed, vocalized. Decoration: Textblock border-ruled in double gold, blue and red. Rubrications in red. Dual-page polychrome illuminated first page-opening with text on cloudbands and blue and red floral radial line in the margins (f. 1v-2r). Polychrome gilded floral sunset and star-shaped medallions in the margins. Gilded polychrome sūrah headings with text in white ink. Gold roundels with pink and blue dots... Origin: Copy completed in 1214 AH by ʻAlī al-Shukrī. Gilding and binding done by ʻAlī ibn Ḥamzah (f. 346r). Shelfmark: MS Or 318.
