Decoration: Gold and blue illuminated header and footer with the title in white on a gold background with gold flowers on blue backgrounds on each end and a circular medallion in blue and gold extending into the margin next to the header; first opening is also border-ruled in blue and gold (f. 1v-2r). Sūrah titles in white ink on gold illuminated background lined in blue with blue and gold... Shelfmark: MS Or 237. Origin: Item is undated. Perhaps produced in Syria or Egypt in the 14th or 15th century.
