Parchment fragment excised from a larger manuscript; prickings visible; binding holes along the inner margins. Single column, ruled, of square music notation in five five-line staves with text.
Decoration: Handpainting letter O with floral border. On verso, one stave begins with intricate knot-work initial.
Housed in a protective archival box with a lid (70 x 53 cm).
Donated by Karl Schrock, organist and adjunct faculty of WMU School of Music, to WMU Special Collections in 2021. Karl Schrock obtained the leaf in 1970s from the cathedral of Toledo, Spain. - Keyword:
