Written in Carolingian Minuscule. No evidence of holes, thread or parchment tag for seal. Housed in a document holder with a mat frame (320 x 420 mm) and sealed behind plastic; one side visible only.
Produced in Catalonia, probably 1046; date based on later inscription just below the main text in lead: "subirats vila franca del Renedey? Any [sp?] 1046." Name of scribe written in the same hand as the main text: "MIRONIE bi qui ista castra francha rogitus scripsit et sub die et anno quod supra". Related to MS 121; Mirone is mentioned in both charters.
