- Binding: Original blind stamped calf over wooden boards, with unusual stamps of a running hound and the evangelical lion of Saint Mark on the top cover, with clasp, in maroon morocco case
Layout: One added leaf in front, eleven at the end; some musical notation on 4 occasionally 5 line staves; 1 column of 16 lines; prickings visible on some folios
Script: Gothic
Decoration: Capitals in red and blue; musical staves and rubrication in red
Provenance: Belonged to a Dominican nunnery of the Holy Cross, possibly at Asperg, Württemberg; note dated 1498 concerning two nuns: Maria Holtzschüchin and Agnes Rüdolfin; note dated 1591 by the nunnery's confessor, Fr.
