Script: Written in a bâtarde script in brown ink (no extant rubrics).
Layout: 1 column, 17 lines. Bounding and writing lines in red plummet, bounding lines full-length.
Decoration: Versal initials one-line high, alternating gold on red or gold on blue; on the verso, outer border of spindly vines with minimal acanthus and terminal foliage; bas-de-page illustration of a shrouded corpse in an open field with a fortified city in the background.
Binding: Housed in an oversize folder.
Origin: Written in France in the mid-fifteenth century.
