With pendant seal (great seal of Edward VI) partially intact. On dorse: Two inscriptions, the second, dated 24 May, 2 E 6 (i.e., 1548): "A patent to Ffrancis Earle of Shrewsbury justice of Eyre of all the Parkes and chases."
