Note on the recto of the first leaf stating that the text in black comes from one manuscript (owned by "Togao zōhon" "a manuscript owned by Togao Kōzanji Temple") and the text in red (variant readings and additions) comes from another manuscript (owned by "Nanto ihon" "Nanto," or Kōfukuji Temple).
