Layout: single column of 17 lines, but 18 lines on fols. 90v and 91r; ruled in lead point.
Decoration: historiated initials (fols. 1r, 7v, 20r, 23v, 26r, 28r, 30r, 32r, 36r, 52r, and 74v).
Origin: Written and illuminated in Southwest England, probably at Exeter, for use there, as indicated by the inclusion of St. Affra in the Litany (fol. 48).
Possibly made for a cleric in England (Exeter?); traces of a circular book stamp on inside front cover and on fly-leaf; obtained by William H. Scheide, Apr. 29, 1965, from Mrs. Annie L. Wiggins of Philadelphia. - Keyword:
