Manuscript fragment.
Collation: Paper, removed from folio volume. Includes top portion of a leaf and part of gutter from the conjugate leaf (possibly a stub if this was a pen facsimile to replace a missing leaf from a printed copy). Leaf measures 297 mm wide. Leaf foliated "XLIII" in top right corner of recto.
Layout: Written in 22+ long lines; blind ruled.
Script: Written in a Italic hand with short s throughout; frequent abbreviations.
Decoration: Sketches of figures in lighter brown ink labeled "Homerus" and "Latinus" in imitation of the woodcuts of the 1493 Koberger edition.
