The first volume is incomplete at the beginning. On back of its last page is a message from the Prophet to the Muslims conveyed to them by a certain Shaykh Ḥamzah, an attendant in the Madīnah mosque who received the message from Muḥammad in a dream (v. 1, fol. 101b). Fāʼidah (v. 2, fol. 143b)
Collation: Paper ; fol. i + 102, i + 144 ; catchwords ; modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals.
Layout: 23-25 lines per page.
