Layout: Written in 10 lines of text and music; ruled.
Script: Written in formal gothic script.
Decoration: Initials alternating in plain blue and red, some erased.
Music: Contains 5-line staves with Hufnagel notation.
Origin: Written in Germany, perhaps Cologne, during the 15th century.
Inscription in 16th(?)-century hand on verso of third leaf: "Ex fundatione Petri Quentell | qui obijt 1504. R. in Pace | Requescat in pace Amen," referring perhaps to a chantry chapel; ownership inscription at head of recto of first leaf: "Liber Colleg[iatae] Ecclesiae S[an]c[t]i Andreae Colon"; note in pencil by 20th-century bookseller(?), "LAUDATE DOM.," followed by erased price code(?), on... - Keyword:
