Layout: Written in 2 columns of 32 lines; frame-ruled.
Script: Written in gothic script.
Decoration: 3-line puzzle initials in gold and blue, with red and blue pen flourishing and cascading gold and blue J-ornaments; 2-line initials in gold with blue pen flourishing or blue with red flourishing.
Origin: Written in France, perhaps Paris, during the first half of the 14th century.
Parent volume: unidentified 18th(?)-century French (?) owner; inscribed in upper margin, 'feria quarta in capite ieunij; unidentified owner/bookseller/auction, Paris; Otto F. Ege, with his adhesive tape (1928). Present leaf acquired by Vassar College perhaps after 1952. - Keyword:
