Layout: Written in 16 lines; ruled.
Script: Written in gothic textura script.
Decoration: 1- and 2-line champie initials in gold blue and red; line-fillers in same colors.
Origin: Written in Belgium, perhaps Bruges, during the 15th century.
Walter Schatzki, German-American bookseller of New York; Vassar College: in pencil, 'Book of Hours France [sic] 1450 on one side of each leaf, and the other, 'Schatzki Sept '48 [dollar]2.--' and '541b' and '541c.'
