Written in 4-7 lines per segment on text folios. Written in Thailand in the 1930s (Justin McDaniel). Written by multiple hands, in both ink and pencil. Khoi paper; folded concertina- or accordion-style, including upper cover. Very worn upper cover, with borders of heavy paper; damaged at sides. 10 illustrated folios, on the recto side only, including an annotated diagram of the human body extending over 3 folios (f. 1r-3r); line drawings of pairs of figures highlighted with gold, silver, and pink (f. 4r-8r); and simpler drawings of figures in pencil with colored ink used for their heads (f. 9r-10r). Sold to Konrad and Sarah M. Bekker in the 1950s or 1960s; Konrad Bekker worked for the State Department in Asia and Sarah Bekker was an art historian. Sold from the estate of Konrad and Sarah M. Bekker at auction at Sloans & Kenyon, 14-16 June 2013, part of lot 467.
