Foliation: Modern foliation added in pencil, upper center recto (1a-252, 252[a]-476); catchwords every verso lower left.
Layout: Written in 11 long lines.
Script: Written in naskh in black ink; pointed and vocalized.
Decoration: Textblock ruled in double red and blue with page-opening frame-ruled in single blue; rubrications in red; sūrah headings in red; marginal text division markers and rukūʻ markers in red.
Binding: Bound in brown leather over thick pasteboard with flap (Type II); embossed paper onlays of a central mandorla, two pendants on the vertical axis, cornerpieces, and triangles between each set of cornerpieces; blind-tooled frame; blue and white chevron pattern endbands.
Origin: The item is undated and unsigned, possibly completed in the second half of the 18th or 19th century.
