Layout: Written in 27 lines per page in black and red ink with headings on the margin; text area blind ruled; head and outer margins blind ruled. Script: Written in naskh in black ink; pointed. Decoration: Rubrications in red. Binding: Full modern brown leather; boards blind tooled with design of intersecting diagonal lines inside a ruled frame; colored patterned cloth spine lining. Origin: Copy completed in A.H. 1260 (f. 217v) by Luṭf Allāh Ibn [?] Qāsim (f. 60r). Copy has inscriptions in Arabic script on front pastedown; occasional marginal annotations, and leaf with diagram in Arabic script laid in. Owner's stamps on last page of text adjacent the colophon (f. 217v). Formerly owned by Howard S. Levy (bookplate inside front cover).
