Layout: 9 long lines, border-ruled. Script: Written in naskh in black ink; pointed and vocalized. Decoration: Gilt headpiece on first page of text (f. 1v) with text in cloudbands; full page illustrations of the mosque at Mecca (f. 16v) and the Rawḍah at Medina (f.17r); textblock bordered in gold and black rules; gold roundels punctuate text. Binding: Red morocco binding with flap (Type II); mandorla with two pendants and cornerpieces of gilt paper onlay with stamped frame on front and back covers; pendant and cornerpieces with onlay on flap. Origin: Copied in 1204 A.H. (1789) by Ḥāfiẓ Muṣṭafá al-Nāfawī al-ʻAshāfī. Sold at auction at Roseberys (London) as part of the Islamic and Indian Art sale, 23 April 2018, lot 103.
