Binding: Nineteenth-century red velvet with metal ajouré corner pieces; niello coat-of-arms (azure between three roses or a chevron of the second, possibly of Cardinal Pietro Bembo but likely a spurious nineteenth-century addition) on front center in oval cartouche with ajouré frame; ajouré metal clasp with filigree mounts
Layout: One column of twenty-two lines, ruled in red ink; written area: 123 x 71 mm

Decoration: Thirteen large miniatures in all'antica architectural frames with bas-de-page vignettes, twenty small miniatures, and twenty-four calendar vignettes; single-side foliate panel borders on pages with small miniatures; illuminated initials and line fillers throughout
